Nothing else is on your order. Anything Max recommends after inspection is quoted first. We won't do anything beyond what you booked without asking. After inspection Max sends you photos and a price for each item, and you say yes or no to each.
What you tick under “While it's apart” is interest only. Nothing here goes on your order — he inspects, sends you photos and a price for each item, and you say yes or no.
If Max finds a small worn part your service doesn't include (a bushing, bumper or bolt), he does what you chose on the form: “Ask me first, always” or “Go ahead up to $50 in parts and labor, then let me know”.
Not sure which level? Pick the lower one. If Max finds it needs more, he sends you the price before doing anything. If it turns out to need the bigger service to come back working and you ticked “Go ahead — send me the new price and carry on”, Max sends the new price and carries on.
Shops booking on account: We won't do anything beyond the booked service without the shop's OK. After inspection we email the shop photos and a dealer price for each item; nothing goes on the RO until you approve it, and we never contact your customer.
Parts and shipping both ways are extra and go on the final invoice. The $75 deposit is applied to that invoice and is non-refundable once your label is scanned.
Shops booking on account: Dealer pricing. No deposit — invoiced to the shop on account at completion, parts and shipping extra. Shipping billed at cost plus 5% on your invoice.
The label is prepaid and insured. Shipping both ways is billed at our cost plus a 5% handling fee; your $75 deposit comes off your final bill.
Shops booking on account: Shipping billed at cost plus 5% on your invoice.
After inspection, Max emails you photos and a price for each item — needed to finish your service, worth doing while it's apart, optional upgrade — each with its own approve or decline. Nothing beyond what you booked happens without your OK. He keeps working on the service you booked while you decide; a yes the same working day goes in while it's open. If we don't hear back within 2 business days we finish the service you booked and ship it back, and the quote stays good for 14 days. If it can't be finished safely without a part you haven't approved, we hold it and keep trying to reach you; if we still can't after 5 more business days, we reassemble it as it came, ship it back and bill only the work done.
Shops booking on account: After inspection we email the shop photos and a dealer price for each item — needed / worth doing while it's apart / optional — to approve line by line; nothing goes on the RO until you approve it, and we never contact your customer. If we don't hear back within 3 business days we finish the booked service and ship it back; the quote stays good for 14 days so you can book the upgrade on the next unit. If it can't be finished safely without an unapproved part, we hold it and keep trying to reach you; after 5 more business days we reassemble it as it came, ship it back and invoice only the work done.
The balance (service, parts, shipping both ways and sales tax, minus your deposit) is paid before it ships back. We email you a secure link to pay it, and the work order is released when the invoice is paid.
Shops booking on account: the shop is invoiced on account when it ships back, Net 30.
A rider ticks: “I understand the box has to be packed as instructed, that parts and shipping both ways (at our cost plus a 5% handling fee) are billed at completion, that if I don't answer a quote within 2 business days (1 business day on a 48-hour expedite) you finish the booked service and ship it back, and that the work order is released when the invoice is paid.”
